In production of perfumery and cosmetic products preservation of product over the entire shelf life is highly important. For this reason, the manufacturers pay special attention to the process of bottle capping. The results of improper capping of bottles are product spillage, deterioration of products’ characteristics and, consequently, deterioration of a manufacturer’s competitiveness and reputation.

Use of the semiautomatic capper MZ-400UM manufactured by AURORA PACK ENGINNERING allows ensuring the necessary tightness of bottles and reducing the time for bottle capping significantly. The machine is manufactured from anodized aluminium and stainless steel AISI 304 ensuring its long service life. A number of the capper’s elements are manufactured from plastic approved for use in cosmetic and food industry.

Scope and field of application

The semiautomatic capper MZ-400UM is used for capping of bottles/vials with screw-on plastic caps up to 25 mm in diameter. The machine is oriented for operation with glass and plastic bottles and vials up to 80 mm high used for filling of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and production of electronic cigarettes (E-Liquid). The capper is best suited for capping of vials with essential oils and other highly odorous substances and is equipped with a special protective cover for this purpose.

Working principle

An operator puts a bottle with a put-on cap into the capping module’s holder. After the capping program is chosen, a capping head comes into a working state. It drops down to a cap base with simultaneous rotation. During rotation of the capping head, the cap is screwed on.
